April's endeavours bring May finishes

Or at least I hope it will. I have a number of projects which are almost finished including my Mother's Day mini quilt which has to be posted today. I hope I can get a few finished this month.

What I was going to work on in April was as follows:
1. BOM commitments: Mostly done
Blogger girls (6)
Lucky stars (12)- I'm not sure I like this month's block so I may pass on the April block.
The sugar block club (12)
Sisters ten (10)
Woodland sampler (12)
2. Christmas stitchery into a mini quilt  All three are done
3. Mini quilt for Mother's Day swap - designed and printed off with cutting instructions Just needs to  be bound today
4. Bee blocks for honey bee - done
5. One row along rows from Bee in my Bonnet  - Several rows done and just one row and the border to piece
6. AYOS - Hat trick pattern. I've bought the pattern, printed the instructions and chosen the charm packs so far Done
7. Start the orbit quilt now that the fabrics have arrived. Pieced and the backing fabric has now been purchased
8. Four weeks of spring time sampler as seen above. The first week is finished but I still have some frames for subsequent weeks to complete. About 3.5 weeks are complete and ready to finish in May

I've also quilted and bound our Bee donation to Siblings Together which I've just heard need to be posted rather than delivered to the retreat and progressed my Perkiomen workshops blocks to having enough for a quilt top. So for May, I hope to get a few quilts finished:

1. BOM commitments:
Blogger girls (6)
Lucky stars (12)
The sugar block club (12)
Sisters ten (10)
Woodland sampler (12)
2. Finish Perkiomen quilt
3. Mini quilt for Mother's Day swap to be finished today
4. Bee blocks for Honey Bee and Simply Solids Bee
5. Complete the Bee in my Bonnet row along quilt top
6. AYOS - waiting to see what May's pattern is
7. Dye the backing for the Orbit quilt, quilt and bind it
8. Complete the Spring sampler

Is that all :)
