March Friday night with friends

Both Nick and Lizzie were out last night so it was a perfect sewing evening or should have been, but I'd lost my mojo. During the day I'd printed out 780 forms for the Eisteddfod at Nick's office. My printer needs a new printer head which should arrive on Tuesday.

March's Woodland sampler arrived by e-mail at 5 so I powered up the very old HP4L printer and printed the chart in black and white but forgot to print the colour key. So I keep my iPad with the colour key close by and I had soon finished the mushroom in a terrarium block. Cute but random. I have a few bits of stitching still to do on the January and February blocks but I am almost up to date.

Today I have an early start- 8.30 am at the local agricultural show grounds where the Eisteddfod entries will be handed in ready for judging to start on Monday. I will take my new knitting project with me but I doubt we'll have much spare time with almost 800 entries to process and sort.

That's a cute little cross stitch! What a good idea to do it at the beginning of the month. Might have to do one like that next year :-)
