Anchors aweigh

I hope you can see that I am making progress on quilting Jane's Tula Pink - Anchor's Away quilt. I was having problems with the thread snapping but after days of tearing my hair out, I changed back to the old software, and touch wood, no breaks yet in two rows. It is going at a slower pace which I'll have to try with the new software but not on this quilt.

September sees a new year for A Lovely Year of Schnibbles hosted by Sherri at A Quilting Life and Sinta at Pink Pincushion. Do go and have a look at the recap of the last year's projects. This month's project is Whit above with three choices of layout. I've chosen layout two with the grey background. 160 flying geese from 2.5" mini charms. Bonkers!!

As I've been watching my machine, I've cut out the fabrics for Whit from two Bonnie & Camille mini charm packets and some Kona graphite. I've also got cut the strips for the quilt for Matthew and pinned them ready to sew this afternoon.

I love that Anchors Away quilt, and it's going to look stunning with that quilting. Wow all those tiny flying geese, that's a lot of work!

Both quilt will be great!
I've got everything lying ready (in a cupboard) for the Anchors aweigh/away; don't know when I'll start. Would you please ask Jane wether it was difficult to patch?

You are a busy girl! I made one of those Anchors Aweigh quilts... I had to tear out all the quilting... but the second time around made the work worth it.
