Funky Chicken

 

Jane's second quilt is now quilted, trimmed and ready for binding. I hear that her third quilt is also ready and wanted by Christmas. I'm not sure what my other clients will have to say about that!! The grass is damp and my quilt holders are out, so this is the best I could achieve.

 

Jane wanted a big stipple similar to the quilt in the book from which this is taken from Dessert roll quilts by the Lintotts. I also added in a few random feathers but I think many look like leaves.

 

Time to put up my feet and read my copy of Quilty Fun which arrived this morning along with another Xmas present from Claire which is definitely out side my comfort zone.
