I remembered buying some Tilda pom pom trim some time ago from Guernsey. I even went and collected my order on a trip with Jane. So I broke out my box of trim and a handful of Tilda fabrics. Now what to do with them?
I waited for inspiration to strike and I wasn't disappointed. Pictures of Noodlehead's latest pattern for a divided basket kept popping up on blogs. Cute pattern - how would it look with a Pom pom trim? I added in the grey and aqua spotted fabric from Bonnie & Camille into the mix. I can recommend this pattern for a quick and easy make. Who can't use another basket for their notions or embroidery?

So shake your pom poms for my contribution!!
I stitched the pom pom trim to the outside of the pocket with two sets of straight stitches but I trimmed one pom pom from each end of the trim to allow for the seam allowance.
And here it is with the matching needle case I made it the Stitch Me Up embroidery blog hop.

Wow! You are very clever to make a divided basket which matches your needle case from the embroidery hop. I love the basket and the poms are a wonderful addition. How could you go wrong with fabric from Bonnie and Camille.
I was looking at you mini quilt. Is is a tiny version of Thimble Blossoms' round & round? I could end up in the poor house buying her patterns to have in my stash.
Thank you for participating in the hop and inspiring us with your wonderful divided basket. A couple of weeks ago I decided I wanted to go to the cross stitch store. My best friend went with me even though she doesn't cross stitch. She bought a couple of bags that were on sale. So, yes, you can always use more bags. And, thank you for blogging and sharing all your wonderful eye candy.
Oh my goodness! You have created an awesome little basket! For me the pom poms are the perfect finish, like sprinkles on a cup cake! :) Just too cute!
