Blocks 1 to 30 of the Maple and Eucalyptus #100blocks100days sewalong are now complete and almost sewn into three rows. One block didn't fit into my revised colour progression, so I am moving it to row 4.
I'm still loving the yellow blocks. The diagonal stripe from to right to bottom left has allowed me to work outwards and choose the right colours. I especially like the yellow and green speckled fabric.
This block needs to be pressed again but I love the speckled fabric and might try and get it in another colourway (preferably blue or turquoise) at the Festival of Quilts.
Almost a third complete, time for the next ten blocks.
