I am thrilled to have finished this project and even more so as I am donating it to After Breast Caner for a fundraiser in the autumn. I used the red hearts from Love Lily by April Rosenthal as the binding.
I enjoyed using the Accuquilt Mix and Match set for this project as it makes quick work of cutting the fabric. I have used lots of fabric scraps and fat quarters and only bought three pink fat quarters to to up my stash to add some variety.
The backing is Kona white overdyed with Procion dyes and the leftovers from this have been used by my daughter to back her superheroes face masks.
A successful project which used up my stash of scraps, fat quarters and wide backing. What to tackle next?
