A successful Sunday

Yesterday I shared that I had started with this:

 

And got as far as this:

 

I'm pleased to report that I have finished piecing the mini quilts.

 

 

They look identical but my iron spat on one of them, so that's my mini quilt. The middle of the quilts look a little bare so I'm thinking of a rainbow circle of buttons? Any other ideas. I will be quilting the tops with a large spiral to emphasise the circular motion of the pinwheels. Which colour would you put on the top - I designed it with the yellow at the top, but could also go for the red as seen on the right hand side or even orange or turquoise.
